Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by The Merry Mare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the client (“you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Deposit & Confirmation

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Your booking is only confirmed when we have received both the deposit and your signed contract.

  • The remaining balance must be paid as outlined in the contract (typically 7 days prior to the event).

2.2 Payment Methods

  • We accept bank transfer only.

  • Our bank details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 Client Cancellations

  • You may cancel within 7 days of signing the contract to receive a full refund of your deposit.

  • From day 8 onwards, the deposit is non-refundable.

  • If the event is cancelled after full payment, refunds are not guaranteed, but we will assess on a case-by-case basis.

3.2 Our Right to Cancel

  • Our right to cancel (including in cases such as force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances) is detailed in your signed contract.

  • In such cases, we will either provide a full refund or work with you to reschedule, depending on the circumstances.

4. Bar Services & Alcohol Policy

  • We operate under strict licensing regulations and will not serve alcohol to anyone under 18. ID may be requested.

  • Service may be refused to intoxicated or disorderly guests, at our discretion.

  • You, as the client, are responsible for the conduct of your guests during the event.

  • We may substitute drinks if required due to supplier availability, always aiming for a comparable option.

5. Venue & Setup Requirements

  • You must ensure there is adequate access and parking for our mobile bar setup.

  • Access to power and water should be provided if required. If unavailable, additional arrangements (and potential costs) will be discussed.

  • We no longer require a flat, stable surface as part of setup requirements.

6. Liability & Damages

  • You are liable for any damage caused to our bar or equipment by your guests.

  • Glassware is excluded from damage charges.

  • We are not responsible for accidents or injuries resulting from alcohol consumption or guest behaviour.

7. Photography & Marketing

  • We may take photos/videos of our setup at your event for use on social media, website, and promotional materials.

  • If you do not wish to be featured, please let us know in writing before the event.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or service disruptions due to events beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, government regulations, natural disasters). In such cases, we’ll do our best to reschedule or provide a fair refund.

9. Agreement

By booking The Merry Mare, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as the details outlined in your signed contract.
